Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of soundr — the website at soundr.social and our companion mobile apps. By using soundr you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Ticket terms & refunds.

1. Who we are
soundr (“soundr”, “we”, “us”) is a music-events discovery platform operated from the European Union. soundr.social and our companion apps are operated by the soundr operating entity described below.
2. Eligibility and acceptance
By creating an account or otherwise using soundr you confirm that you can form a binding contract with us and that you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use soundr.
- You must be old enough to consent to processing of your personal data in your country (generally 16, and at least 13).
- Some events are restricted to attendees aged 18 or over. Where an event is marked 18+, you must meet that age requirement to attend, and the organizer or venue may verify your age at the door.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You may hold more than one role (fan, artist, organizer/venue) under a single account and switch between them.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, that create risk for other users, or where we are required to do so by law.
4. Your content and moderation
soundr lets users post content — including profiles, event details and fan media from events (“user content”). You keep ownership of your user content. By posting it you grant soundr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform and the events on it. You are responsible for your user content and confirm you have the rights needed to post it.
You must not post content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, or that breaches our community guidelines. Organizers and venues moderate fan media submitted for their events, and we operate platform-wide moderation.
5. Events, tickets and payments
Organizers and venues create and are responsible for their events, including the accuracy of event details, lineups, pricing and the delivery of the event itself. soundr provides the discovery platform and promotion tools; we are not the organizer of events listed by third parties. soundr does not sell tickets — organizers link out to their own ticketing, and any ticket purchase is between you and the seller (see the Ticket terms below).
The only payments soundr takes are from organizers who buy credits to list and promote (boost / feature) their events. Those credit purchases are processed by our Merchant of Record, Polar, which acts as the seller of record for the credit transaction. Polar handles secure payment authentication (including Strong Customer Authentication where required) and any applicable VAT or sales tax; soundr never sees or stores card details. Prices are shown before you pay, and credits are non-refundable once spent except where the law requires.
How tickets, refunds, cancellations and event changes work between you and the organizer (or their ticketing provider) is set out in our Ticket terms & refunds, which form part of these Terms.
Because these transactions are between you and third parties, you deal with organizers, venues, artists and ticket sellers at your own risk. soundr does not verify, endorse or guarantee any event, listing, ticket or user, and we are not responsible for tickets that are invalid, not delivered or resold, for events that are cancelled or changed, or for any scam, fraud or misrepresentation by another user or seller. Always check who you are buying from before you pay.
6. Acceptable use
When using soundr you agree not to:
- break the law, infringe others’ rights, or post prohibited content;
- impersonate others, or misrepresent your affiliation with an artist, organizer or venue;
- scrape, harvest, or access the platform by automated means except as we expressly permit;
- interfere with the security or integrity of soundr, or attempt to circumvent ticketing, pricing or fraud controls;
- resell tickets in breach of an organizer’s terms or applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
soundr, its logo, and the design and software of the platform are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our brand except as needed to use the service normally. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
8. Disclaimers and liability
soundr is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work hard to keep the platform reliable but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for the conduct of organizers, venues, artists or other users, or for events run by third parties.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, soundr is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your dealings with other users, organizers, venues, artists or third-party ticket sellers — including any scam, fraud, chargeback, or failure to deliver an event or ticket. If you are scammed or defrauded by another user or a third party while using soundr, that is a matter between you and them (and, where appropriate, your payment provider and the authorities); it is not a liability of soundr. Please report suspected fraud to us and we will act where we can, but we do not accept liability for the acts of other users.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including your mandatory consumer rights, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using soundr and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where you breach these Terms, where it is necessary to protect users or the platform, or where required by law. Where we do so we will act proportionately and, where appropriate, give you notice and a route to respond.
10. Governing law and disputes
As a consumer, you benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may be able to bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing here removes those protections.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use soundr after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
